Dog feces left on your lawn can pose a serious health hazard!
It can take up to one year for dog feces to disintegrate!

Animal feces are one of the most common sources of the
following diseases:
Coccidia
Giardia
Hookworms
Parvo Virus
Roundworms(Ascarids)
Whipworms
Dog feces is protein based and is poisonous to lawns.
Contrary to some beliefs, carnivorous animals, such as
dogs, do not produce useable manure-fertilizer for plants.
Beneficial manure-fertilizer comes from omnivores (like
cows and sheep) which in turn, consume vegetation and
return unused waste back to the soil to be taken up by
plants.
Pet waste left to accumulate in any area can be dangerous
to your pet's health.  According to www.peteducation, dogs
will walk thought it, sniff it, roll around in it, and sometimes
even eat it...Unfortunately, our four legged friends pick-up
deadly diseases from pet waste if left to accumulate.
